But when police trace her cell phone, it leads them to a surprising character with an even more surprising story. In the end, Kelsey had been killed by her husband, Patrick Frazee, who went to great lengths to cover up his crime. He was eventually arrested, convicted and sentenced in 2018 to "life in prison plus 156 years".
